Allison Burnett is a novelist, poet and screenwriter living in Los Angeles. His narrator, B.K. Troop, first appeared in Christopher (Broadway Books, 2003), which was a finalist for the 2003 PEN Center USA Literary Award, and then in The House Beautiful (Carroll and Graf, 2006). His third novel, Undiscovered Gyrl, was published by Vintage in 2009.
